During "Chalices and Stars", the awarding ceremonies for the Journalism award "Salento Negroamaro" are held in Puglia, promoted by the Province of Lecce together with the Movement for Wine Tourism in Puglia (Movimento Turismo del Vino) instituted in 2005 to emphasize the qualitative evolution and growth of Salento wine-production culture. Each year the jury of experts in communication and the National Enologic sector awards the best articles and television programs proposed by the media, on the basis of their originality and completeness in communicating Salento wine-production culture.
