The wine cellars and members of the Movement for Wine Tourism in Puglia (Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia), hold an "open-house" for tourists during the grand event dedicated to wine with presentations about the territory and its vineyards. Fifty wine-producing companies adhere to the ten-year-old initiative involving an ever wider public, as curious onlookers, wine lovers and connoisseurs are attracted to go on tours of the cellars right to the barrel storage rooms, to meet the vine-dressers and learn the history of Puglia wine. The occasion is enriched by an extensive program of special art exhibitions, small tasting-courses, local music presentations and a lot of other initiatives for the Spring of Wine.
